Bringing home a new puppy is exciting—but it also comes with responsibilities and learning curves. At Coal Creek Labrador Retrievers, we understand that not every family has the time, schedule, or experience to handle early training on their own.

To support our puppy families, we offer optional training programs designed to give puppies a strong foundation while helping families feel confident and prepared from day one.

All puppies in our program are AKC Registered Purebred White Labrador Retrievers, and training is approached with the same care and intention as every other aspect of our program.

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppy Kindergarten is designed for young puppies and focuses on essential early-life skills that support a smooth transition into the home.

Training focus includes:

  • Potty training foundations
  • Basic house manners
  • Beginning obedience
  • Gentle handling and socialization

This program typically works with puppies between 8–12 weeks of age. Puppies board with the trainer, receiving consistent care and one-on-one attention. Owners may choose to participate directly or allow the trainer to work independently with the puppy.

Pricing is based on weekly boarding, training equipment, consultation, and home-based lesson plans.

Turn Key Training Program

The Turn Key Program is a comprehensive option for families seeking an extensive four-month training program before bringing their puppy home. This program reserves pick of the litter and is designed to help puppies develop strong foundational skills that support a smooth transition into family life.

The program builds progressively and may include:

Early Training Focus

  • Name recognition
  • Crate and potty training
  • Leash wearing and handling
  • Basic grooming and manners
  • Socialization and environmental exposure

Intermediate Skills

  • Sit, stay, down, and recall
  • Loose leash walking
  • Meal and doorway manners
  • “Leave it” and “off” commands

Advanced Foundations

  • Generalized obedience
  • Distraction training
  • Distance and duration work
  • “Go to your bed” command
